A new Discovery Trail has been developed and is ready for 2017 school tours.
The trail is completely within the Museum grounds and focuses on 12 specific places and objects beyond the main bulding.
Folders are available for teachers and parents to use with students and include information and pictures explaining the uses of equipment and places.
The trail takes students to areas and objects that are not part of the education modules offered.
It will be possible for parents and teachers to start small groups at different points.
The places and objects include: German wagon, water trough and roller, header, police cell, wine shed, outside dunny, bag loader, Lokan wagon, wheel making, excavation, blacksmith shop, stump jump plough.
